USAPR Scheduled Courses
USAPR schedules 5-6 courses per year for both
FAA Senior and Master Rigger training. Class size: 8 candidates. Minimum class size:
3 candidates
COURSES BY APPOINTMENT
Product Orientation (Non-standard equipment)
and Para-Flite MC-4 Repair and Maintenance courses are by appointment. (Minimum
two candidates per course)
Senior Parachute Rigger
A 15-day course designed
for the individual who possesses a basic knowledge of parachutes and wishes to obtain
the entry level FAA Senior Parachute Rigger license.

Master Parachute Rigger
A 15-day course designed
for those individuals who currently hold a FAA Senior Rigger license or foreign
equivalent or meet the experience requirements for a FAA Master Rigger license.
This course focuses on the practical skills necessary for the Master Rigger license.

Advance Skills Course
A 5-day course designed for
those individuals who currently possess a rigger license. This course focuses on
those areas in which the individual may lack extensive experience.

Product Orientation Course
A 4-day course designed for
organizations that operate or use USAPR
products. This course specializes in the packing, use and maintenance of
RI products.

MC-4 Maintenance Course / Para-Flite Military
A 4-day course designed for
military units whose operational requirements utilize the Para Flite Military HALO/HAHO
systems such as the MC-4, MC-5 and others.

Additional Parachute Rating
A 5-day course designed for
those licensed riggers who wish to obtain additional ratings such as back, chest,
or seat.

Military Non-Standard Equipment Training
A course design for military
riggers requiring training on non-standard equipment. Military riggers who may not
be thoroughly familiar with modern freefall parachute systems including ram-air
parachutes.
